Affiliate Funds Our regional community foundation works with civic-minded leaders in local communities to establish permanent funds for community good. We also have special affiliation partnerships with smaller local community foundations in our region.
Mt. Callahan Community
Fund
Community leaders began raising funds and building a community endowment in 2002 to benefit their home communities of Parachute and Battlement Mesa. Since inception, the Mt. Callahan Community Fund has awarded almost $60,000 in grants to benefit dozens of local organizations, including the Colorado Mountain College Foundation, Friends of Parachute Library, Garfield County School District 51, Girl Scouts, Grand Valley Historical Society, Grand Valley Medical Center, K-SUN Community Radio, LIFT UP of Garfield County, Parachute/Battlement Mesa Parks & Rec, Roaring Fork Valley Early Learning Fund, Valley Senior Center, Youth for Christ and YouthZone. |
